Thanks to the efforts of Maureen Forrester
and Alan Pascoe we were able to use an area known as The Barn at The Crown Playhatch. The venue is about 3
miles from Reading Station and there is an Arriva bus (#800) that
runs every hour and takes about 15 - 20 minutes as well as plenty of
taxis.
We met informally on Friday
evening at the venue and then had the reunion Saturday afternoon until evening.
The Crown provided us with a
limited menu for a fixed price of £29 for 2 courses or
£35 for 3 courses.
And if we get 30 people signed up the room is given to
us free. This is a copy of the
menu. We asked attendees to pay in advance to confirm their attendance
